The Aakres have Gone Above and Beyond for the Hawley Community

This year, devoted community couple, Keith and Lori Aakre received the Above and Beyond Award; and like most award recipients at the banquet, they had no idea. “They are pretty sneaky at saying the award is for someone else, but then it’s someone in the group,” Lori stated and went on to say, “When they started reading about the couple, I leaned over to Keith, and said I think that’s us.”
The unexpected couple was very humble to receive the award. “We appreciate the recognition. It makes us feel that what we’re doing is pleasing the community,” the Aakres stated.
