A Visit to Sellin Borthers
Mrs. Langerud’s Kindergarten Class had the privilege of working with Sellin Brothers this school year through the Community/School Partnership. All year these 19 students were so excited to decorate the front entry of Sellins! Early in the fall, Sellin Brothers came into the classroom to speak with us about their business and this past week we had the privilege of visiting Sellin Brothers to see for ourselves.
On the business tour, students had the opportunity to learn more about Sellin Brothers. They had the opportunity to go behind the scenes to see the heavy equipment and students were given the chance to help remove a bucket off a trailer using a remote control, they climbed in the cab of a road grader and a skidsteer and listened to the air horn of a gravel truck!
The students also watched two short videos to see additional equipment in use and learn more about how Sellin Brothers use their equipment for various projects.
At the end of the tour, each student enjoyed displaying one more piece of summer artwork and a small snack to take with them!
Thank you so much SELLIN BROTHERS for supporting our classroom through the Community/School Partnership Program. Because of your generous donation, our classroom was able to purchase six scoop chairs that we used in the reading corner of our classroom.
