This year’s theme: Space in honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. On Saturday, forty teams from local area schools competed in robotic design and programming, research and problem solution, robot table missions, and core values. “Our teams researched the problem astronauts would face on long term deployment (more than a year),” Captain Baxter commented and went on to say, “We studied the connections between mental health and physical health. Our students were focused on being isolated from family and friends and also boredom.”
