Helpers needed for Hurricane Michael
On October 11, Hurricane Michael hit the panhandle of Florida. When the category four hurricane hit, it was reported that Hurricane Michael was the “Strongest storm to hit the US in more than 25 years,” “Hurricane Michael’s 155 mph winds at landfall were only 5 mph short of category five status,” “Hurricane Michael hit with a frightening fury,” “roofs were peeled away and swept into the air, and homes were split open by fallen trees,” and “blocks and blocks were demolished, reduced to splintered lumber or mere concrete slabs by the most powerful hurricane to hit the continental US in fifty years.”
