Min Yun joins Hawley High School

In the last ten years, the Hawley District and families in our community have hosted 30 students from over 15 different countries including Mexico, Thailand, Germany, Slovakia, Australia, South Korea, and Italy. Min Yun traveled 6,146 miles for her first day of school and still beat the first bell. She hails from a country whose national dish is Kimchi and the flag has a red and blue ying-yang in the center of it. If you’re still not sure, this last clue will certainly give it away; the country hosted the 2018 Winter Olympics.

Read about her and her experiences so far … in the Best Paper in Clay County.
