Whatever Happened to the Neighborhood Paperboy?
The silver bell fascinated on the ape hanger handle bars dings as a freckled face boy slinging newspapers, races through the neighborhood on his banana seat bike. He was aiming for the porch, but more times than not, it landed in the Marigolds, the bird bath, or in the bushes.
Delivering the newspaper was a ten-year-old boy’s dream job. It was their bread and butter, their gumball change. How they funded their baseball card collection.
