The four candidates for Clay County Sheriff were in Hitterdal last week to make a few statements and to answer questions. The panel included, from left to right, ND Parole Officer Mark Hendrickson, Clay County Detective Jason Hicks, Emcee Russell McDougall, CC Deputy Scott Steffes and CC Lt. Mark Empting.
